Central Dogma of Molecular Biology

The traditional understanding of genetics is distilled in Francis Crick’s Central Dogma of Molecular Biology. The central dogma holds that information flows like this Wikipedia Diagram:Wikipedia Diagram of Central Dogma

This means that information goes only from nucleic acids to proteins – never the other way around.
